The ‘Fruits, Gifts and Charisms of the Holy Spirit, are given to us – to help us to be ‘FORMED’ into ‘another Christ’ . . . to be able to ‘HELP’ – ‘Build up ‘the Body of Christ’ here in our world. This is explained in my book that is pictured above, ‘Christ in our Midst.’

The Isaiah gifts (Isaiah 11:1-2);

Lists; the ‘Gifts of the Spirit’ Known as “Wisdom, Knowledge, Understanding, Counsel, Fortitude, Piety,and Fear of the Lord.”

The ‘Fruits’ of the Holy Spirit;

Are the attributes of Jesus as He lived here on earth nearly 2000 years ago. They are found in (Galatians 5:22-23)”But  the fruit of the Spirit is: Love, Joy, Peace, Long-suffering (Patience),  Kindness, Goodness,  Faith, Meekness (Gentleness), Self-control — against such things there is not a law.” from the Hebrew,Greek, English Bible.

We receive them when we are “Baptized in The Name of the Father, Son and Holy Spirit“ (Matthew 28:19). They are enhanced when we are “Confirmed” — Which is ‘Baptism of the Spirit,’ and   “He will Baptize you with the Holy Spirit“ (Luke 3:16)- like what happened to the Apostles on Pentecost, and our Charisms come ‘Alive” in us when we have a “Conversion Experience,” which is an “Infilling of the Holy Spirit,“ that Transforms us – from living — “In the World — to – Living for Christ.”

We are  ‘Formed’ into another Christ through our Baptism, and into a Christian community with each other, by taking care of each others needs. Feeding the hungry, clothing the poor, healing the sick, driving out demons, and living the Beatitudes the best that we can.

The Charisms;

Are important in this process because they are the ‘Action’ with which we administer our work for God. we are working on ‘Being Formed into another Christ, which is the goal of Discipleship.

These ‘Fruits’ are the Personality of Jesus when He lived here on earth. He went around the Region of Galilee, doing good for people.  ‘The Isaiah Gifts,’ are the special  –  ‘Spiritual Gifts of the Holy Spirit’ (knowledge, understanding, wisdom, strength, fortitude, piety and fear of the Lord), that the  Holy  Spirit gives to us when we need to do some work for God; such as help someone through a hard time by showing our ‘Patience, Kindness, and Love . . . Fruits‘. We are able to help another, by allowing the Holy Spirit to give us exactly what the other person needs — through our reception of the’Holy Spirit’s SPECIAL Gifts called Charisms,’ some of which are listed in (1 Corinthians, chapters 12- 13-14).
