‘The Spirit of God,’
‘The Spirit of God,’ has come to us in many forms since the beginning of time. In (Genesis 1:2), ” . . . and the Spirit moved gently upon the face of the waters… then God said, Let light be — then there was light.” God speaks, and something happens. ‘The Spirit of God’ is the … ‘Do-er’ of the Father’s wishes. and has come in the form of; Wind, Fire, and a Whisper (Jeremiah 19: 11-12), a pillar of Cloud and Fire ( Exodus 13: 10) Cloud (Exodus 3:10). ‘The Spirit of God’ moves among u and within those ho call to Him.
Most of the pictures above are ‘Mystical’ pictures of ‘The Spirit of God,’ One is a cloud in the sky, at sunset from my back yard. Some pictures were taken by me in the Sanctuary of my Church, St. Monica, East Peoria IL. These ‘Lights and Images’are not present.at any time other than associated with Prayer. The first one appeared to me after Intense prayer, on my knees at the foot of the Altar after Morning Mass. I was asking God for help on what to do and where to go about the Manuscript of my Book, ‘Christ in our Midst.’
Being on my knees, I felt as though I was being ‘P-u-s-h-e-d’ down to my belly, and I have learned that when I feel the that ‘H-a-n-d’ on my back – I must S-u-r-r-e-n-d-e-r,’ to ‘The Power of the Holy Spirit’ within me, so that He can do with me as He Will’s!
I laid there in Prayer for a while and do not know how long, I remember asking God, ‘Who will I get to help me Publish ‘Our Work?’ You see, this book, “Christ in our Midst,” was written through the Power of the Holy Spirit. I had little knowledge of Scripture. I was 63 years old at the time of hearing God ‘Speak to my heart’ through my then Spiritual Director, Who asked me, To write a ‘Paper, on each Fruit and Gift of the Holy Spirit.”
Responding I said, ‘Yes.” And then the next day after morning Mass, I discovered the Magnitude of what I had said ‘Yes,’ to. Looking at the ‘LIST of Fruits an Gifts,’ I discovered that there were 19 all together! I was appalled a what I had said ‘Yes,’ to. I am Dyslexic. and had no idea of how to do this great task.
But, I trusted God to lead me and come to My Aid. He has been with me through all of my Spiritual Growth so far, why would He not help me with this task. The Holy Spirit led me through intense Prayer, to (Jeremiah 15:16) which was the place where I found the word ‘JOY.’ That Message gave me a direction to begin my Journey into Scripture, and the ‘Fruits of the Holy Spirit.’ While lying there on the Altar Floor, I heard, “This will be your Cross to bear.” I didn’t understand what that would mean for the struggle that I was about to encounter with trying to get this ‘Work of the Holy Spirit together with me, published, but I just had to have Faith that it would be completed in ‘God’s Time.’
When I felt ‘Released’ from this prayer at the foot of the altar, I got up and returned to my pew, When I turned around, I saw this ‘Incredible Vision.’ It was this picture of the Holy Spirit.
His wings were moving up and down, He was ‘hovering’ over the Sanctuary Candle. I watched for some time, then I decided to see if I could take a picture of it. Obviously I was able to. I think that was because I am supposed to share it with all who will ‘Believe,’ and to help other peoples unbelief.
Although I have been granted the Grace to see many such visions, none have been alike – and many times, other people from our prayer group have seen them also. Praise God! I feel they are given to me as a ‘Sign’ of answered Prayer.
The last one that we were given was on the evening of 2/6/2020. Linda, her husband Bret and I gathered to pray for his mother who had been taken to the hospital unresponsive – for and unknown reason. We prayed together , and when we were finished, Bret took the chair back to the Sacristy and turned the lights out. He came back through the Body of the Church to leave, and saw this Incredible Vision. He stood there a while, just ‘Drinking of it in Amazement, then he called out to us and said, The Holy Spirit is here!
Linda and I looked at each other and hurried back to the front of the Altar, and stood with him in utter amazement. He had never seen anything like this before. Linda had seen some of these Images before, but neither she nor I had seen anything so distinctly the Holy Spirit in the form of a Dove before this one. The wings flapped up and down. The body of the Dove was moving with the movement of the wings. An incredibly ‘Alive Dove’ – hovering above our Sanctuary Candle.
I ran back to get my camera to see if I could capture this moment for all time. I was allowed by God to preserve it in my camera, Thank You God! Now I am to share it with all who will Believe in this Miraculous happening. This was a Miracle of Supernatural proportions! The Holy Spirit in the form of a Dove was seem by Three people – which makes it an ‘Authentic Apparition or Vision.’ What we did not see until later – in the camera – was the face of Jesus.
When I looked at the Picture closer, I saw a darkened area above the wings of the Dove. And as I let my eyes go upward, I saw a light shadow, that looked like an arch – and then a slight image of eyes and nose . . . it was ‘The Face of Jesus.’ The ‘light-area was the ‘Crown of Thorns’ . . .and the dark area above the Dove was Jesus’ beard. As I kept looking at the picture . . . I discovered at the tips of the Doves wings, I could see forearms that extend up to a light beam across the top of the picture which is the Horizontal Beam of the Cross. It is a picture of Jesus – and the Holy Spirit upon the Cross.
When some people look at this picture, they see the ‘Body of a Man’ . . . which is ‘Jesus Christ . . . Our Lord and Redeemer!’ With His dying Breath . . . (Luke 23:46) “Then Jesus, crying with a loud voice, said, ‘Father, into your hands I commend My Spirit!’ Having said this, He Breathed His last.”
You will need to look through the eyes of Faith to see Jesus, but He is there so that we know of His great Love and Mercy for each one of us. He chose to die a horrible death for our sins and weaknesses, of which most of us don’t even notice in our lives. Jesus did this for us out of God’s GREAT Love for us . . . to give us a chance at our own Salvation. He died . . . and poured out His Mercy upon the whole world when the centurion plunged the sword into His side and opened His Heart.
(John 20:29-31) ” Then Jesus said to him,’Because your have seen me Thomas, you believed. Blessed are those who believe and have not seen. Then truly Jesus did other miracles in the presence of His disciples which are not written in this book. But these have been written that you might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God; and that believing you might have life in His name.“
He was Resurrected from the dead . . . and later Ascended into Heaven to show us the way to His Father, through the ‘Trail of God’s Tears.’
I have seen a single eye many times before in my prayer, but this time the image stayed a long time. I saw movement under the eye. As the movement continued, I could see it was a tear,filling . . . and moving down in my vision. Then something was moving within the ‘Tear.’ as it grew bigger, I could see it was a man walking, and with each step that the man took, the ‘Tear’ formed around the foot, creating a path of Tears.
Though the person was very tiny, it kept moving down in my vision. I was able to see hair around His Face, and the cloth over His shoulders. When I understood that it was Jesus, walking through the ‘Trail of Gods Tears,’ the Image faded.
God the Father cried for each one of us from the beginning of time. Jesus cried for us also, and came forth to us through the ‘Trail of God’s Tears’.’With each step that Jesus took – He created a path of tears, that we can each follow back to the Father, but it will only be through Jesus that we can reach the Father.
I saw this image on Holy Thursday morning April 9, 2020, during my Quiet Prayer, when I reached that ‘Interior Prayer Place where the Mystical happens.’
